Bexen Cardio offers a wide range of products adapted to different uses, from complete models for advanced hospital life support to portable intuitive equipment for public access.
The multiparametric Defibrillator Monitor equipment is especially designed for use in and outside hospitals, and essentially aimed for medical personnel use.

It includes among functions those of monitoring vital parameters like: Oxygen in blood (SpO2); Non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), Carbon dioxide in lungs/windpipe (EtCO2) and Electrocardiograph of 12 simultaneous derivatives (ECG).

Equipment designed to facilitate emergency interventions.

Highly intuitive equipment for fast use with the most advanced features and heavy duty design.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the first cause of death in developed countries.

One of the most dramatic symptoms of this disease is sudden cardiac death (SCD), caused by the sudden arrest of heart electrical activity. In Europe alone, it is estimated over 400,000 SCD episodes/year occur with an associated cost of 20 Billion Euros.
The incidence of SCD in the adult population (over 35 years) is estimated to cause 1.5 deaths per 1000 inhabitants/year.
One of the main causes of SCD are fatal ventricular arrhythmias, especially ventricular fibrillation (VF) and fast ventricular tachycardia (VT). These arrhythmias are treated with an electrical discharge (defibrillation) supplied by an automatic external defibrillator - AED.

The drop in survival probability is estimated at around 7-10% per minute delay in defibrillation and survival rates drop below 5% after 12 minutes of VF. Thus the critical link in the survival chain is early defibrillation.
